Opportunities live in counselor emails, company career pages, nonprofit newsletters and word of mouth. If you’re well connected, some reach you. Open Ajar puts them all in one place.

Partner with usWhat high schoolers and college students say about Open Ajar.
Open Ajar makes it much easier for students to discover opportunities that would otherwise be scattered across dozens of websites. I especially like that it lowers the barrier for students who may not already have access to strong academic or professional networks.
Before using Open Ajar, I honestly didn’t know where to start looking for internships and programs. Having opportunities collected in one place makes the process feel much less overwhelming and gives me a better idea of what is actually available to high school students.
One of the hardest parts of high school is simply knowing which opportunities exist. Open Ajar addresses that problem by bringing internships, research, competitions, and other programs into one accessible platform instead of making students search for everything individually.
There are countless valuable programs online, but discovering them often depends on knowing exactly what to search for. Open Ajar helps bridge that information gap by organizing opportunities in a way that makes exploration much more efficient for students.
Students interested in different fields often have to jump between many unrelated websites to find meaningful opportunities. Open Ajar creates a much simpler starting point by exposing students to programs across disciplines that they might not have encountered otherwise.
Open Ajar has helped me realize how many opportunities exist outside of what gets shared at school. Instead of relying only on counselors or word of mouth, I can explore programs on my own and find things that actually match my interests.
What I like most about Open Ajar is that it saves students from spending hours trying to figure out which programs are actually available to them. Everything feels easier to browse, and I’ve found opportunities I probably never would have come across otherwise.
I wish there had been a resource like Open Ajar when I was first looking for opportunities in high school. A centralized platform can make a huge difference for students who are motivated but simply don’t know where to find internships, competitions, or academic programs.
A lot of opportunities seem hidden unless someone sends them to you or you already know where to look. Open Ajar makes that information much more accessible and helps students find programs beyond the ones everyone at their school already knows about.
Open Ajar makes searching for opportunities feel less dependent on who you know. Being able to browse different internships, research programs, and competitions in one place gives students more freedom to explore what they’re interested in and take initiative themselves.

No. Every listing links to the organization’s own application. We help you find it and stay organized; you apply directly with them.
Nothing goes live automatically. A reviewer checks each listing against its official page first, and each one is labeled with how well it’s been verified. Always confirm details on the official page before you apply.
Please do. Create a free account, confirm your email, and use Submit. A reviewer will approve it or let you know what to fix.
We only collect what the site needs, never sell it and don’t run ads. You can delete your account any time. See the privacy policy.
